My students fill my days with laughter.
Ms. Rogers: When is your birthday?
6 yr old student : Well, when I was growing up it was in June. I don't have any idea when it is now. (records show his birthday is in July).
One child had tied her own shoelaces together for no reason. I told her she owed our sweet Texas Tech student a hug for spending 15 min getting the knots out of her shoelaces. Another child raised her hand and said I will give the hug.
I look up at that moment another boy has put on sunglasses 45 min before recess. He looks at me and says I am ready to go outside. I could no longer hold it in. I busted out laughing and so did my class.
